Or rather, here. Interesting news that Shiny Media is launching its own Web 2.0 blog, Techscape. Following the familiar Shiny format of lots of shorter posts, rather than lengthy dissertations into the nature of folksonomy, the new site (so far) covers site and service launches from around the world.

Don’t think Techcrunch UK (RIP), but rather, Tech Digest for web services. This is a site aimed at the users of such services, not academic pedants and geeks like err… me. The launch statement makes this consumer focus pretty clear:

…if you’re reading this thinking ‘Web 2.0? What in the name of all that is good and holy in this world is that?’, then the answer is you’re looking at it. It’s the new breed of internet that allows you to have input, be it through comments, sharing your videos via YouTube or setting up a MySpace page.

Good luck, chaps. Nice to see a new site with a fresh look-and-feel and an outright ban on navel-gazing.
