Pastures New

I’m delighted to be able to tell you that I’ve accepted the post of full-time editor on the New Media Knowledge (NMK) website, starting in the new year. NMK is a learning and business information hub for companies and individuals working in UK digital media.

I’ve been writing this blog as a hobby for the last six months, and so the idea of getting paid to do pretty much the same thing seemed like a good move to me!

Of course, it means I’ll have to brush up on all those internet subjects that I don’t write about here. So anyone got some good links for mobile 2.0, design, accessibility, usability, web law, e-commerce, SEO, search marketing, business internet strategy, convergence, email marketing, project management and err… Damn - sounds like work, after all ;).

I’ll still be writing here, too, of course.

GOOD!!!!!
Nice Job!
Good Luck for your future: your posts have always been sharp and interesting!

Another place to read in the future!

Congratulations Ian!

Since I discovered your blog I’ve always been impressed with the content and your writing style - you’ve made some very complicated stuff very clear for a PR-type like me.

I do track NMK, so will look out for you there as well as on your blog.

cheers,
sw

Congrats Ian - well deserved! Seems to be a new trend this job-landing-from-blogs business!? :)

Thanks a lot, guys, I better close my browsher now as I have hed a little to mush.

I did mean it about the good links, though!

Ian. Big congratulations. As others have said: it’s a well deserved appointment. Just make sure you keep up the quality of posts ; )

Well done.

Oh yes. Forgot to mention… Lovely looking new blog design! Very fresh and clean.

Congrats Ian - sounds like a great post. Please keep up the good stuff here though, too.
