Geeks Embrace IE7

How do I know? On the 18th of August, I posted a few comments about my web stats and noted that 57% of you used Firefox. At that time, Internet Explorer accounted for about 20% of visitors. Today, I checked again and it’s 39% apiece for both Firefox and IE users.

Incidentally, I also discovered that ’shortcomings’ is one of my top search terms… No. really. Check it out. Not sure I can monetise that one.

Geeks tend to be early adapters. IE7 has just come out and, BTW, is a LOT faster than FireFox. I’m still on FireFox, here, simply because I use different browsers for different purposes.

For business and for projects I am working on, I tend to use IE simply because that is the first platform I must be compatible with.

So, I keep my personal stuff on FireFox.

IE7 is faster and nicer-looking. If I could find an equivalent to my beloved AdBlock Plus extension, I’d jump ship straight away.
