A Good Blog these days is easy to find

Regular readers will have noticed my TheGoodBlogs widget on the side of the page. The idea is to form an ad-hoc blog network with other writers in your subject area. You promote their latest posts on your site, while they promote yours on their own sites. The group’s quality is monitored, so you don’t find yourself promoting splogs or idiots. It seemed to me like a good way to improve the exposure of this site and so I was delighted to join the private beta.

Anyway, the service has now entered public beta, and you can sign up if you like, here. What I’ve enjoyed about it most, to be honest, has been the contact with fellow bloggers in our little network. It’s exposed me to bloggers I probably wouldn’t have found through other means. I’m especially enjoying the blogs by Kent, Matthew, Laurence, Michael and Haydn, not to forget, the Anti-Marketeer, and The Idea Dude himself, Vernon Lun, who is one of the two founders of TheGoodBlogs. If you’re interested in the sort of topics I write about you’ll probably find all of these of value.
